Many of customers are not quite sure about the difference between engineered floor (or solid floating timber floor) and other flooring products.

Engineered flooring can be laid without nails, while can be re-sanded and re-coated when necessary. It has got elegant looking and economic in price. These are the main advantages of engineered flooring.

To some customers’ surprise this kind of engineered floor can also be directly stuck to a sub-floor or floated on an acoustic underlay too.

The most concern comes, is this kind of floating timber floor have good wearing surface? The answer is ‘Yes”. The products we sell have got five layers of UV cured acrylic finish factory coating, this coating is the latest scratch resistant technology and will cope with high traffic used and family wear and tear. The premium quality hardwood wear layer is underpinned by two cross ply layers of plantation-grade timber, to make sure dimensional stability.

The use of a 4mm solid timber face is an eco-friendly use of valuable timber conserving natural resource.
